Thoughtful Thursday -March 30th
Welcome to the newest edition of our Thoughtful Thursday newsletter. Drew’s handing over the reins to me, Tom, to update you on all things Chiro.London for the upcoming month, including some new Shameless Plugs we’re sure you’ll be interested in - especially if you’re running in the London Marathon.
Looks like we have a busy one across all our clinics as the Easter break approaches, so let’s get stuck in!
Clinic Updates
Our Mother’s Day massage promotion has been a big success. We’ve been able to introduce a lot of mums (both new and experienced) to the world of massage. If you’re a new mum or mum-to-be, check out our massage therapist Hazle’s blog on prenatal and postnatal massage here.
Community has been a solid theme this month, with Fulham’s Mike McBean helping to educate the local community on posture and the benefits of chiropractic care at HomeWork Workspace. It’s been so successful that Mike may turn this into a monthly jaunt, so keep an eye out for updates.
The massage team at Marylebone have also been getting out and about, so much so they have up-rooted and taken the massage table with them to visit the good people at the Swedish Church in London.
Want your workplace to be firing on all cylinders? Why not organise a monthly massage for your staff? Get in touch with me and I’ll fill you in with all the details.
As Drew mentioned, our Wandsworth Bridge Road clinic is still a work in progress so we will keep you all updated with any news of its changes. But until then, we have the wonderful Bradley and Meg holding down the massage fort there, so do come and see them if you’re in need of a rub.
We also have a few bank holidays coming up, so please have a nosey at Andrea’s Holidays & Changes below. We always strive to be super available so you can keep to your schedule - and remember, if you can’t see your usual chiro, there’ll always be another member of our team who’ll be happy to help you!

Podcasts
In this month's Chiro.London Pod, proudly fuelled by Ground Coffee Society, Craig speaks to an international guest, Travis Corcoran from TOPCHIRO in the Netherlands. He tells his story of how he found chiropractic and how he evolved from one struggling clinic to over 10 thriving practices. They deep dive into some chiropractic philosophy and he shares how he keeps his clinics principled while maintaining the ethos a free and enjoyable place to work.

Shameless Plugs
This month we bring you two special plugs – one for the marathon runners amongst us, and another for anyone who would like to learn more about diet and gut health…
We know how big a task running a marathon is so we want to do everything we can to help you get to the finish line in good order. Marylebone’s very own Elle will be running in it this year, along with our good pals Luke and Jemimah at Absolute Studios, so we’ve asked them for their tips on how to best prepare your body for the long run ahead. Check out Jem’s guide to marathon preparation and recovery and keep an eye out on our social media for Elle’s advice soon.
To help keep your body functioning at its fittest during your training, we have an exclusive offer for all London Marathon runners: we're offering a massage to ease your aching muscles for only £50!
This offer is available for the whole month of April, and only available at the Fulham, Kew, and Marylebone clinics. Simply call your chosen clinic to book. You must show your London Marathon registration to take advantage of this special price, and it’s one per person only.
You'll be pleased to know our second Shameless Plug doesn't require any running! On Thursday, April 13th at 19:45, Michael from Team Toots will be partnering up with nutritionist Ellie Alexander to discuss the link between nutrition, chiropractic and gut health at their favourite haunt, Juliet’s. It promises to be a fascinating evening for anyone who's ever wondered what exactly gut health is and why it's so important. Tickets are free, so if you’d like to join us, simply email Matilda to get on the guest list.
