Kate graduated with a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic from the Durban University of Technology in 2013, completing her Master’s Dissertation on “The effect of core strengthening on Cycling Performance”. She then furthered her qualifications by becoming a certified Pilates Instructor in 2013, and Pilates for Pregnancy Instructor in 2014. She has also undertaken a Post graduate Certification in Paediatric Chiropractic Care, through the University of Johannesburg.

Kate grew up in an exceptionally sporty family, with her dad being a South African Cyclist and manager of the South African Olympic Cycling Team; and having been heavily involved in competitive sports herself, competing provincially in Netball and Athletics, her primary passion in Chiropractic naturally stemmed from this background. This led to her completing various advanced sports chiropractic courses, including FICS Sports Chiropractic, Running Biomechanics and Shoe Prescription, Kinesiotaping, and other Sports Injury Management and Rehabilitation courses.

She realised quite quickly within her Chiropractic career that she had another special passion, the paediatric population and treating patients through pregnancy, and so, numerous pregnancy and paediatric courses later, she went on to complete a Post Graduate Certification in Paediatric Chiropractic Care with Distinction.

Kate is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and Paediatric Chiropractic South Africa.

Outside of her practice, Kate is an avid runner, pilates enthusiast, book lover, wife, and mom to a very sweet, busy and energetic 3 year old daughter.
