Should I have a spinal x-ray?

During a visit to Putney Chiropractic, your chiropractor has the option to take a set of spinal x-rays so they can get a more in-depth view of what is going on. After a thorough consultation and examination they will use their clinical expertise to determine the need for x-rays in your specific case. If indicated, we will have a discussion, which always requires your consent before x-rays are taken. We need to answer the following questions: do the benefits of taking x-rays outweigh the risks; is there appropriate evidence supporting the use of x-rays; is this supported by the chiropractor’s clinical experience; and how will it impact patient management?

How much do we charge for X-rays?

External x-ray referral service

Our digital x-ray service is also available to other practitioners wanting quick and efficient access to radiology. Only eligible practitioners can refer for x-rays, and these are normally limited to chiropractors, osteopaths, GPs and other medical professionals. Our equipment is modern digital technology, providing quality images with minimal exposure to the public.
